At the age of 3, I went to live in Portugal, and it was in the city of Porto that I grew up.
Since I was very young I practice sports, at 2 years old I started ballet, and from 3 years old swimming and Karate. Years later, at 14, I dedicated myself only to my great passion - DANCE - Jazz & Street Dance - for many years.

When the time came to choose a professional area to pursue, Journalism seemed to me to be a spectacular thing. I was already a model and the world of lights, cameras, photos and videos fascinated me deeply. So, I went there to study Communication Sciences.

In my second year at the University, I got a scholarship to study for a season in Rome, Italy. Then, I had a lot of fun. I gained a lot of journalistic experience and also developed Italian, Spanish and English very well, due to the contact I had with students from all over the world.

Finishing my Bachelor's Degree, and not satisfied, I decided to take a Master's in Marketing Management, an area that equally enchanted me and that in this way would give me added value at a professional level.

I quickly entered the world of work, coming to stand out more in the area of Sports Marketing. However, I have never stopped working in the area of Journalism, having been a presenter on a northern television program, a journalist in the Gaia newspaper, a public newspaper and a news newspaper.

Dance came back later in my life, when I managed the Marketing of a College in Estoril - D. Luísa Sigea. Here, he organized many events for
children, always with lots of music, dance and animation. I even did several choreographies for the students. However, my husband's professional reasons spoke louder and we had to move to China, Beijing. Arriving in Beijing, with almost no professional perspectives, I started writing this LIFESTYLE blog and attending Zumba classes (which I already knew so well in Portugal). Two classes were enough for the teacher to want to introduce me to the Zumba Beijing Masters, in order to invite me to be a Zumba teacher in Beijing and to know all the conditions to exercise. Right away, the idea pleased me. The holidays were getting closer and as soon as I arrived in Portugal I did the Zumba training.
I returned to China and voilá, it was work after work, as you can read
here.

Ending our season in China, already 7 months pregnant with my baby Lucca, we returned to Portugal. And it was in the childbirth preparation course and postpartum course, at the health center in Alcabideche, with the fabulous Nurse Isabel Cruz and a few more moms, that I lovingly developed the SLING DANCE for me and all those moms who felt the need to feel like women again. You know the whole story here.
